Copyright and Plagiarism Issues
As a student who has many groups works, having a knowledge of what is copyright and plagiarism has great factor to avoid some consequences and penalty from school policy. It is a serious crime because it involves the legal and ethical use of other people's intellectual property. It means the right of person to get credit of its work of art, literature, music, and code.
When you use some of someone's else intellectual property, you need to respect their rights and give them proper credit. Otherwise, you are committing plagiarism, it means you are not giving acknowledgement and consent to the person. For students, getting consent allows them to develop a manner of respect others' ideas and be original. It is important for them to learn this because they have great ideas that can be shared to everyone, and plagiarism and copyright are avoidable. They can edit other's work with their permission and allow them to be more creative of it.
Cyberbullying
Don't be unfriendly for someone who is just quiet and enjoying his/her companion. Cyberbullying must be stop. It can create mental health problem, lose some respect, suicidal, well-being, reputation. When you teach it, you save a live by telling them how to prevent cyberbullying, how to respond to it, and how to support others who are affected by it. We need to respect people's privacy and do not interfere because we are hurting them if it continues. Choose friends wisely that will help you as a student to your career and dreams.
I agree that cyberbullying has so many negative impacts on people's live. I've heard stories of people getting cyberbullied so much that they try to take their own life. It is so important to teach our students that cyberbullying is a serious thing and there should be major consequences for it.
